Hello! I'm Molly Gotheridge and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my Masters in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling and from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences. I have a great passion for hearing people’s stories, meeting them with love and compassion. Through my own faith journey, I have recognized the importance of incorporating spirituality into every day experiences as a way to live more fully and receive God’s grace.

My first priority is to build a strong, trusting relationship with each person I meet. From this foundation, I use various strategies to assist clients with gaining awareness of their thoughts & emotions, increasing abilities to manage & get space from distress, and building compassion, all with the goal to allow you to start living a more meaningful, value-driven life. You are the expert of your life, so I collaborate with you based on what you’re needing the most. I have been trained in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP), which are evidenced-based treatments to help alleviate the intensity of anxiety, depression, OCD, and more!

It can be intimidating and daunting to start counseling - it’s a huge accomplishment just to reach out to someone! I would love to help you through your process of building the life you want to live, so feel free to contact me to schedule a time to talk more about your story.

Favorite Scripture:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

-Philippians 4:6-7

Favorite Quote:

Happiness is not fulfilling every pleasure or getting every outcome you desire. Happiness is being able to enjoy life with a peaceful mind that is not constantly craving for more. It is the inner peace that comes with embracing change.
